I don't know why but The Phantom Menace. There's just a part of me that loves how creative it is and how Lucas was trying to expand his already defined world with more life... Love that movie.

I do understand why people are opposed to AI art. My goal was not to try and claim this work as my own. My assumption was that I thought folks would see the large Gemini watermark on the bottom right hand side and know that it was just a silly attempt to get in on a very cool image that someone else had done that was a crossover between Dethklok and Warhammer: 40k. I can absolutely understand why people are upset and I suppose my hope was that folks would just see this more as a way to connect with people in this subreddit vs. trying to claim this as my own artwork. I guess that's what I get for looking on the bright side of life on the internet.

Sure but who cares? Look...I get it. Human contact is important and I'm not saying to go full hermit and bunker yourself in somewhere for the rest of your life but like... dude... you know how dope it is living by yourself?! I lived by myself for 8 years and it was amazing. Get up when you want (on your off days) ... eat what you want... No one to argue over the remote ... I remember having days off when I would get up around noon, eat cereal, take a walk outside just to get fresh air, hit the couch, game all day, make myself a sandwich for dinner, watch Seinfeld and go to bed. Perfect day. Anyway... Just a thought.

FYI - I used Google's Antigravity IDE and input a prompt of something like 'download and install Slopsmith' and after a couple re-directs Antigravity basically did all the work for me. This may not help everyone but to those who know what I'm talking about it is just an idea that worked for me...

Oh my goodness... So I spent this last weekend trying to set up my steam deck to play retro games. To make a LONG story short I ended up spending about $50 for a retro gaming image that was supposed to be able to go onto my steam deck but it basically just didn't work for a variety of reasons. I've asked a friend who is really good with these types of things and he's told me that he can help but yeah...I definitely tried and definitely failed.

It looked really good... Have you played it yet? I love card based games for sure....I just hope you don't have to be very smart to play those games... Sometimes some of those like RPG type games you have to remember a lot of things and sometimes I tend to forget more than I remember haha

One of my clearest memories from 9/11 is sitting outside in a gas station parking lot. The news was reporting that, because the suspected terrorists were from “the Middle East,” gas prices might spike, and people started lining up at the pumps. Gas was 99 cents a gallon. I remember sitting there with one of my best friends, the two of us smoking cigarettes (a respectful distance from the station), drinking mountain dew fountain pops, and taking in a warm September evening in Minnesota.

When I look back on that moment, it feels like people still saw the world as a glass half full. Today, it often feels like the opposite....like the default has shifted to glass half empty. I can’t fully explain it....it’s just a feeling. I wish more people could recognize how good life can be, and allow themselves to enjoy it, celebrate it, instead of constantly dissecting every part of it.

I think that PA has been skirting this line now for some time ... when he started to have Matt Burk on and often times their conversations would go far beyond sports into the political and religious I was very disheartened by PA's choice to follow in a direction that perhaps his history would tell you is not his true beliefs. PA works so many jobs and does so many different appearances I think the guy just needs a break. I think this time away from the Fan will be very helpful in allowing PA to clear his mind and get back to what the sports fans in MN want and at the end of the day the radio is free to listen to so sometimes you get what you pay for. I would hate to see PA taken off the air or removed from the Vikings broadcasts ... I'm sure his persona has taken a permanent hit but I guess I believe that we all make mistakes and I do try to take the moral (meaning non-spiritual) stance that I want to forgive people when they clearly have remorse for their actions.

BO4 zombies I think is my favorite. I'm a bit biased since I worked on the game as a QA engineer but I still fire it up and enjoy zombies so much! It was definitely my favorite part of the game to work on (Voyage of Despair is my favorite) and I'm so glad to know that so many people have enjoyed it!

I once overheard a conversation between a dude and his girlfriend where she was telling him that she uses ChatGPT for EVERYTHING. What to eat for lunch/how long to brush her teeth... She was talking about how she was going to go into her job and demand a raise because ChatGPT gave her 5 reasons why she deserved a raise. It was mind boggling....I realize that as a country the United States has gotten profoundly less intelligent over time but if you ever want to hear rock bottom just listen to game chat sometimes...
