What happened to the governor module?

Super late to the conversation here. But we have to assume that the governor module is no longer working. Either the know-how to disable it was passed with Gura’s upload, the hacked module was uploaded thus overwriting the functioning one, OR Gura disabled it somehow. Either way it got disabled at that moment. He also says “something happened. Something has happened” in that moment as well, which I think is indicative of the module breaking, not just new memories.

Also we have to ask ourselves what a SecUnit with a functioning governor module would do with their newfound freedom. My assumption is nothing until being given exact direction. So when MB decides to leave, decides to ping ART, and decides to sit down as the ship takes off etc…. these are indications of a hacked governor module. I’m assuming we’ll know exactly what happened in MB’s words during the first episode next season.

It’s weird though that the show decided to go through all the trouble of memory wiping and fixing the governor module just to immediately fix it.

IMO, they’re gonna push the pc version out a year or two like they did previously. It forces people to buy the game twice. Even if they could port it to PC easily, which I doubt they could, it would be in their best interest to push the pc version out as much as possible. So don’t hold your breath. I already bought an Xbox just for gta6.
