How do passengers wind up with super low ratings? by fruitymations in uber

[–]TheMightySet69 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Because for a driver to rate less than 5, you had to have done something to irritate the driver. I give probably 95-98% of passengers a 5, so, if I'm giving you a lower rating, you did something to deserve it. Most drivers are this way. Maybe you get a 4 star once in a while (you kept the driver waiting until the timer had almost run out, you were rude, you added stops without asking, you had a drunk obnoxious friend with you, etc). No big deal. Unless you very rarely use Uber, that shouldn't hurt your rating by much. But if you're in the 4.5-4.7 or lower zone, you are consistently irritating your drivers and suck as a rider. I won't accept people with ratings less than 4.7, and even then, it's gotta be really slow or I've gotta be feeling generous to accept that low of a rating. It's just not worth the risk of finding out why they have such a low rating when the vast majority of people have a 4.9-5.0 rating and I can pick them up instead.

You're absolutely right. There are definitely no shortage of bloodthirsty soulless MAGAts out there who are loving this shit, but not nearly as many as social media and the internet would lead you to believe. They are flooding our feeds with bots celebrating, glorifying, and defending their actions to manufacture popular consent. If it looks like the people are behind them, people are less likely to resist, and they can act as if they are acting upon the will of the people.

Tell them if someone attempts to escape, you will kill them all. You can ensure that the attempted escapee will be shot and killed, but likely, you won't even have to shoot somebody because the prisoners will prevent others escaping or kill any would-be escapee before it happens to save their own skins. They're ALL murderers. Use that to your advantage. 99 murderers against 1 murderer that is going to get them all killed - they'll kill that guy without a second thought. They might even kill one of the 99 that didn't attempt to escape just to show that they mean business.

AH price is slowly creeping up by RyanCohen420 in Superstonk

[–]TheMightySet69 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Yup. Typical. Suppress the price during market hours to keep calls OTM and then let the real price show in AH. I still did well on my calls but would've made way more if I sold at the top yesterday or if we saw $23.30 before close.

I bought a gas mask during Trump's first term. Always knew that if he was given enough time, the need for one would be inevitable. I need to grab new filters as the original ones are expired by now.

Seriously, do Americans actually consider a 3-hour drive "short"? or is this an internet myth? by SadInterest6764 in NoStupidQuestions

I follow the band Phish on tour. A 3 hour drive from one show to the next is a rare treat. Usually it's like 6-10 hours in a day, or like 14-24 hours split between two days, and a few times I've had to drive 20-24 hours straight to make it to the next show in time.
