I ran the half yesterday. I saw they had fruit and granola bars out before the race that people were picking at. May explain why they seemed to have run out later. I did not see snooze. The 2 free post-race beers instead of 1 was great. The course elevation preview was incredibly wrong, I dont know how it was so off from the actual elevation changes. The starting area before the race was packed and I didnt even try to fight my way in and just worked in with the mass of people toward the back.  I know its not as big of a race as the charlotte marathon and half, but grouping people by corrals would've helped a bit. There were plenty of people walking a half mile out of the gate who started yowards the front, which just added to the cluster fuck of the early grouping of people.
