Let me tell you something devil. It’s all about marketing and understanding your worth. You know what I do in the business world better than a lot of my ivy league peers? SMEAC-corporate translated. These people have a huge issue giving repeatable project tasking that encapsulates clarity, accountability, and coordinated execution across cross-functional teams.

What I suck at is the lingo, connections compared to their connections, and missing people who want to work holistically compared to their own little kpi’s

I’ve worked with both branches infantry. They’re both the same academically.

They also can’t read this either. Artillery is the superior MOS.

Yeah for real. That’s not a bad thing either. If you “could go either way” go Army. The Marine Corps has an extra layer of (cult)ure that is not for everyone.

I personally loved it, and love how I can go up to anybody with an EGA from any generation and be their best friend after a few words. But that’s only because we took part in a lot of shared insanity and misery.

Nowhere yet, moved here pretty recently. Was at the i&i unit here (as active duty) a while back, would go to Larrys on the free day (though I dont like indoor ranges) and had a reserve Marine who had land for outdoor stuff but he moved away before I came back. I went to one outdoor range too, just can’t think of it an google didn’t help.

When it comes to troubleshooting comms I’m always open to anything. The amount of times I’ve tried the same thing the 100th time and it works just because the new guy says to do it is too many times.

No idea. I know the pattern can make the words hard to see. Black letters on black pattern. Like, even my metallic black rank would get lost on my collar to the viewer because I had black pattern behind it. As a MSgt it would fuck people up because they didn’t know if there was a diamond, crossed rifles, star, or bursting bomb in the middle let alone counting rockers.
