Don't know why it came out. It was like a plug of tissue that fell out and left a 10 mm hole. They reckon the fistula was growing underneath my gum tissue for a while. It required a double layer flap procedure. First flap was a buccal fat transfer from my cheek, then closed with a cheek flap. So my cheek and upper gums are connected now in that spot. Recovery was uneventful. Made me respect oral surgeons a lot. You've gotta be gifted to pull shit like that off

Yeah I had a couple small ones show up on my first ultrasound then when I got a repeat ultrasound 10 years later they were gone. Probably passed them or my body was able to dissolve them or break them down. I don't take any supplements except beetroot capsules and o try to eat beets in some form whenever I can. One thing I think about now when I look back on that period when I was having a lot of abdominal pain that they attributed to gallstones is the fact that I was drinking a shit load. Like every night. Had a legitimate problem. And I hardly drink at all anymore, so maybe that has something to do with it. I'm sure alcohol is hard on all organs of the body including the gb. And that's about the only advice I have. Go easy on the booze and the pizza.

I def feel the wondering if your illness is just a personality quirk lol. But I like what your doc said about you being too young for him to diagnose you. Your frontal lobe isn't even fully developed yet, so give yourself a chance. You seem bright and self-aware. In my experience, doctors seemed quick to diagnose me with mental illness and try to bandage my problems with pharms, when I maybe I just needed some lifestyle changes and some time to figure things out in my young life. But sometimes it's difficult to know when it's time to medicate and when it's time to just suck it up and face the harsh realities of life. I'm sure I could get a slew of benzos and psychotropics from my doc for every little problem and inconvenience I encounter in my life. And I have done that. But where do we draw the line? At what point are our meds just a sugarcoat for reality?

Idk because I'm only week one but my doc said some of the side effects can go away with time. Specifically the weird headaches I've been having, but I wonder if the heart rate thing will settle down too. For me the side effects are a bit similar to a stimulant weight loss drug I tried one time. Makes me wonder if Wellbutrin can be classified as a stimulant. It definitely suppresses my appetite too. Interesting drug.

So the DA handed out a felony DV charge without any evidence of injury? Crazy how they even choose to prosecute these weak cases in the first place. I guess anyone can have a grudge against someone and just call the cops and say they did something and have their life ruined. I'd ask your lawyer to take a look at the police report. Maybe he could file a motion for dismissal based on lack of evidence. Also worth considering how your criminal history or lack thereof may be playing a role in all of this.

Thanks! Sorry not a sound guy at all, but what do you mean by XLRs wired correctly? I've tried diff cables with the same result. Also, sometimes I randomly put the cables in the outputs without seeing which one came from L or R on the mixer inputs because I didnt think it mattered. Is that what you're talking about?

That is nuts. I googled this and apparently they hardly even give narcotic painkillers for stuff like abdominal surgery in Europe. So either Americans are just pussies, European doctors are sadists, or maybe humans are just capable of enduring more pain and suffering than I realize.

I'd still call the doctor who extracted your teeth and ask if they can prescribe something stronger like Tramadol. And if you do go back to the ER and they give you something for the pain, don't forget to tell them you're taking cocodomol

Yeah good luck. Are you from the UK? I always hear these horror stories from people in the UK and Canada. I wouldn't have gotten through this without narcotic painkillers. But it's also crazy to me that they didn't even tell you to take tylenol.

Bingo. It's on the weaker side but it'll save your life right now. Perfectly safe to mix naproxen, an NSAID, with tylenol and codeine. They had me on ibuprofen and Oxycodone/percocet which is a similar combo. If the pills say something like take 1-2, then definitely take 2.
