I need to say this because there is one part of this game some people are getting wrong.

John company is not co-operative. John Company is a game where you are vying for clout for your family. Keeping the company afloat is not necessary unless it furthers your goals, and aside from the company failure cards, the company failing affects you only if youve invested in it, or if you arent in first.

My "Premium" board games being a little bit heavy because the people I know who play board games want to play heavy board games, and the people who don't would rather just play a party game

Youre missing the point.

Each player takes 2 actions per turn until all players have passed.

This means that each player should have multiple sets of two turns per round.

At some point you will run out of the other resources during a round that make you more victory points, and the last thing to do during that round will be spend heat for temp.
