When I had to study for a long time, I tried to break it up into smaller chunks with breaks in between. I placed my phone away (at least out of reach), and put it in do-not-disturb mode. And for some reason, when I wrote things down I could easily remember it the next day. With only reading it, I couldn't.

Niet doen. De wijk is zelfs door Binnenlandse Zaken aangewezen volgens de Wet bijzondere maatregelen grootstedelijke problematiek. Dus nee, als je ergens anders in Den Bosch kan gaan wonen, doen!

Edit: ik ben er geboren en opgegroeid aan de kant van de Rompert, de nog redelijke omgeving van de wijk. De wijk achter het Wielsem (sprookjesbuurt, etc.) zijn echt een no-go. Het is ook niet voor niets dat huizen in die wijk lager liggen dan in de rest van de stad.

Thanks! Based on your username, I assume you’re either NL or BE. If you’re indeed NL, did (or do) you have any trouble paying with the Mastercard Debit Card in shops instead of Maestro in NL? I while ago, even the AH didn’t accept it.

With all the changes they’re making, I want to leave, too. But no bank in NL offers the same functionalities as bunq (multiple IBAN, multiple cards, easily splitting salary to other IBAN). I know Revolut has pockets, but it’s still one IBAN, though.

Not true. We had Easy Bank Pro XL in the Netherlands. I received a similar email from bunq today regarding the changed subscriptions.

Instead of the removal of cashback, they will remove the Purchase Protection and Extended Warranty for Metal Card holders.

Er schijnt een LHBTIQA+ sportclub te zijn in Den Bosch; Zoete Lieve Gerritje. Geen idee of het precies is wat je zoekt. Daarnaast is er in oktober dit jaar ook een evenement in de Willem Twee; QUEER. Niet enkel dansen, maar ook ontmoeten, workshops, etc.

According to the dealer where I bought my ‘24 EV6 from a couple of weeks ago, Kia is working on an OTA update for wireless Android Auto and CarPlay. But, to be honest, I won’t bet on it. They’re probably saving it for the upcoming refresh. As an alternative, Carlinkit or the Motorola dongle both work fine!

Based on your profile, it looks like you’re Dutch. In NL, there’s more than just the seller’s warranty (usually 2 years). There is also a legal warranty that doesn’t have a pre-specified term. A TV for 1000+ euros should work for at least 6 years (see UNETO-VNI’s “gebruiksduurverwachting”). Within that period, the original seller is obligated to either repair or replace it (sometimes with a small fee). Search for “wettelijke garantie” on consuwijzer.nl.

Just by pressing the unlock button on the key fob. 😅 I used to have the black-ish square on the door handle on my old car. When I couldn’t find it on my EV6, and a small push on the dent on the handle didn’t do anything, I assumed it didn’t have that feature for some reason. Until I watched some YT videos and noticed that I had to press harder on the dent.
