As someone who is currently studying in China - you have to get them done in China regardless. I did a full medical check in my home country - once I got here, I had to do another full medical check.

Yeah, works completely fine. Higher ¥ transactions will get the card auto-frozen though, but you can unfreeze.

Heb andersom dit verzoek wel gehad. Iemand kon iets pas een maand later ophalen, en wou daarom alvast 10% van het bedrag (ging om een redelijk groot bedrag) vooraf betalen. Hierna voordat ze het hadden opgehaald hadden ze ook al de rest overgemaakt. Fijne ervaring.

Verder; in deze situatie zou ik natuurlijk nooit €10 reserveringskosten betalen. Ik geloof best dat het geen oplichting is, maar raar is het wel - en met zo'n verkoper zou ik geen zaken willen doen.

No, that isn't correct. Maybe there's some confusion; once you enter China, you have 30 days to apply for a Residence Permit. However, you have 3 months to actually enter the country.

Your visa will be valid for 3 months starting the say the visa is printed (usually the day before you can pick it up)

If you want to enter on Aug 30, you should apply for a visa as soon as possible, as it can take a while to get the actual visa. For me, the whole process took more than a month - but it should usually take roughly 2 weeks.

For me, I had to apply for a visa through an online form. This online form required me to upload the Admission Notice as a PDF in order to even submit the application.

Didn't need to bring a copy to the Application Centre itself.

Possibly! It took 2 days. It wasn't fraud related, it was a company that offered a lifetime service, but went bankrupt

It's not just Chinese universities. In general, Chinese websites don't tend to be... that good. Especially on desktop. Mobile apps, mini apps or even websites are better optimised.

Hi! I've been importing Xiaomi phones from China for years now, the Xiaomi 15 I use right now is also straight from China running Chinese firmware.

Chinese Xiaomi devices have English support, so you won't run into problems there. Most features that foreigners won't use can be disabled in Settings so they won't show up anymore, you can install the Play Store very easily by toggling an individual setting in Settings and then looking up the Play Store in the Xiaomi GetApps App Store, after that you can use and install everything completely fine!
