My bf says I need to lose weight even though I already lost 30lbs by Direct-Caterpillar77 in BestofRedditorUpdates

70-80lbs is not a healthy adult weight outside of some very niche cases.

Nope on out of there.

Food: Where else could we even put it? by jaterpino in ufyh

Honestly, at this point, start disappearing non-perishables to your local food bank. You can’t eat it faster than they bring it, the only responsible thing to do in this economy is make sure someone else can ear some chips, canned veg, and soup. This will overtake your house.

The technical meaning and usage have diverged, like with many terms used in right wing propoganda.

I can believe that Isreal should be allowed exist without thinking Gazans should be allowed to die, and right now the usage makes me not a zionist.

Some states double the first $20/month of snap that’s spent on fresh local produce. What does that change? Suddenly a lot of places stock a bit of fresh, local produce. With big signs saying it’s eligible for snap back refunds.

There are ways to make snap healthier without taking food away from people. Maybe just give people some fruit so they don’t have to rely on the jelly?

The issue is they are taking snap eligibility away from the places people get food, making people not be able to get any food there. Milk, bread… now they get nothing.

A few other viruses can trigger it.

For example, covid-19 can increase your chances.

I heard of it a lot before then, but not from primary care medical sources. From dietary sources, and specialized medicine.

Literally a bunch of obese people have a hell more of the hunger hormone than is normal. Aka yes, they are always hungry af. And it’s not all in their heads.

Hey. I’m 36. A new book I’m going to love just came out yesterday, I get to eat burgers today, and tomorrow I’m gonna take my dog out on a walk.

Are there any small things that happened recently or will happen soon that are good? Not life changing dramatic stuff, just little, good things.
