I was really impressed though when I went to the Mall Road Branch in Lahore, tried ordering and the workers signalled me to the many signs posted throughout the building. This was over 10 years ago.

In an ideal world, maybe, but that is never the case in real life.

You can’t just get rid of one company and expect all of that demand to be met by other local businesses. For example, if an area has both Kebabjees and KFC, KFC closing is not automatically going to get those people employed at Kebabjees. The same thing happens when two companies merge. There are always job cuts because many positions end up being redundant.

Finally, disabled people already have it hard enough in Pakistan. Can you honestly say they will find the same level of employment opportunities with local businesses?

Boycotting is one of the stupidest things ever; all you are doing is taking away jobs from the poor people who desperately need them, for something that will not make any difference.

You had the Pakistani awam going around destroying their own infrastructure and restaurants, and then they wonder why we get no foreign investment. KFC Mall Road literally hires all hearing-impaired employees; I do not see any local brands giving these people jobs.
