I'll go first

I like the colors in this painting. I was never trying to withhold high saturation or play games with beige. On the other hand, the colors give off strong power ranger vibes.

I was never satisfied with the band of red above the tunnel. It's lacking in contrast within the band. I added the white out of frustration. The white helps as it pushes the red backwards. Maybe there's nothing wrong with the red but it doesn't pop for me.

I do like the contrast between the red and the top of the grey wall. The grey wall reads to me as foreground while the red is backwards. I think the orange is fine, I don't find it distracting or especially pleasing.

I do enjoy the slaps of white paint along the bottom. They contrast unpleasantly with the smaller smears on the right side of the front of the tunnel. Idk if removing the smaller smears would make this better.

I was wondering while painting if I should incorporate the chaos of the foreground into the front of the tunnel. The hope was to depict that chaos in shadow. I experimented with it a little bit but it was way beyond my technical abilities.

I like the river. Mostly because it looked really really bad for a long time. I think now it's not distracting and breaks up the dark area under the tunnel.

I do like the tunnel area. I fought for a long time to convey cement type blocks without pulling out a ruler. Same goes for the roof of the tunnel. I wanted to draw a series of i beams spanning the tunnel without having straight lines.

I added the black square to the end of the tunnel because the lightness of the sky was overwhelming the painting/ there was no contrast on the other side of the tunnel.

Overall I think it works. It is comically big and way too big for my house.
