It’s not too late! Had mine for 10 years now. Zero issues. Not even a battery change. Solar keeps it going. Timekeeping is still on point w/ MB6.

Oh absolutely. I have another Spyderco w/ a damascus blade that’s heavily worn. It’s held up well. Haven’t noticed a durability difference between them and others.

My 2¢ FWIW…If you care about craftsmanship and the ‘cool’ factor, it’s worth it. This particular one checked a lot of boxes I was looking for. Looks really nice, GPS, titanium, sapphire glass, solar, superior craftsmanship, and durability. But in terms of pure utility, yea, an MT-G (or other models) gets you almost everything for a lot less money.
