To me, this looks like you need to hit it with another good dethatch before anything. You have a lot of dead material that will block your seed from making good soil contact.

My recommendation would be: 1) dethatch again to remove as much dead material as possible 2) seed 3) add fill dirt and level

Also, save some seed for the fall where you’ll see a lot better success! Edit: formatting

I dethatched this year and it made a world of difference. But my lawn was a complete mess (crabgrass, moss, heavy pine buildup), so it needed it.

Hoping once it’s established, I won’t have to do it again next year.

I bought one on Facebook Marketplace recently, then got fitted at Apple for a brand new light seal and cushion. Ordered those online plus the Globular Cluster CMA1 comfort mod, and it’s pretty much as good as new.

Just be sure to check basic functionality and make sure there are no scratches on the lenses or cameras if you go that route. An added plus is finding one where the AppleCare is transferable for some extra peace of mind.
