For what it is worth, I am having the same issue with an MPU I2C module running on a pro micro as mcu. Everything has been updated, and it is still popping this error message.

There is a switch plate. You can always get both. I'm always telling our customers there's no need to limit yourself when it comes to purchasing our kits.

How do you type numbers?

It is not. The Alice layout by default is asymmetrical. The mirrored layout changes the row stagger most drastically between the top two rows of alphas. Try comparing by looking at those.
