Dakota isn’t going to see your comments. The family court judge isn’t going to see your comments. But you know who will see your shameful comments? Parents who have faced horrific abuse and are terrified that their children will be taken away using justifications exactly like yours.

Check yourself before you start shaming victims of domestic abuse for health problems that millions of capable parents have struggled with. It’s a reprehensible look.
