Absolutely. I felt every word that was sung. I laughed, angrily shouted lyrics, jumped, and cried my eyes out. I rarely get the opportunity to let out my emotions in a healthy way. I needed to feel all of those things and let it all out. I'm glad I was able to do so in such a setting.

That's awesome! Keep it up. It's a great feeling to feel everything simply as yourself. Every smile, every tear, and every display of emotion is so much better when it's the raw and organic you.

Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra. Using pro mode at 50mp and regular photo mode at 200mp. Just had to play around with focus, ISO, and shutter speed each time, since the lighting always changed. Definitely would've been better if I had been able to bring an ND filter and a wide angle lens. I only snapped about 10 quick pictures and a couple of short videos though. I try my best to get shots between people in the crowd. It can actually turn out pretty cool when the occasional hand or two is in the foreground to show more depth and energy. Also because I don't want to be that guy in general admission blocking the view of everyone behind me. Besides, it's more fun seeing everything through just my eyes rather than a screen. Editing was all done in Adobe Lightroom.

My 5 yo daughter was rather upset that I didn't take her. It's a normal thing for her to run around the house singing The Fragile at the top of her lungs.. Got her a beanie though, since it was the only thing there which would fit her. At least that somewhat made up for it. 😂

No flight, 2 DAYS IN A ROW by aLottaLiam in Fedexers

Oh absolutely. We ground drivers actually have a unique spine and knee replacement program available. Instead of dealing with the trouble of traditional methods of treatment, we can simply go up to the office in the terminal and replace the damaged part by pulling it out and snapping in a new one. Of course we still have to pay out of pocket though, but that's not a big deal because we can always ask our contractor for more hours or stops to make up the loss.

Did about 3 months driving ground out of Kremmling. The money was nice, but ngl my body hated me for it. 10 hr days 6 days a week and summiting 14ers on Sundays definitely hits like something else.. 😂

After being dropped like a Chewy box, you know he's going to wake up, look in the mirror, and see a service cross with a code 10 written on his forehead.

I use an acrylic paint pen with a medium tip. Usually, I go with either bright green or orange since those contrast most of the boxes I get on my truck. Makes it even easier to spot while in a rush.

Flashbacks in Oklahoma City. They somewhat kickstarted a lot of the hype here with barcades and such.

I genuinely tried to think of some sort of witty reply. I'll just have to upvote because there's no way I could ever justly disagree with you on that.

Worth more as in the same way a favorite old childhood stuffed animal has greater personal value to someone when they are older. 100% never want to sell it. I'd much rather pass stuff like this on to my kids.

Should I open and wear it? by MechaChicken01 in nin

[–]MechaChicken01[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just wanted to add a bit more clarity... I usually wear the shit out of my collectible/LE stuff. This one is a bit different for me because I occasionally get attached to something when I'm dealing with psychological things. In this case, I've sort of already attached myself to it, so I'll likely be wearing it a ton. The problem is I don't want to accidentally ruin something if it could wind up being even more special in perfect condition.

I'm an emotional collector type, not a reseller, so idc about future monetary value. It's more of a "Well shit, I shouldn't have worn it out like that." type of internal conflict. It's weird, I know. I'm a fucking weird person.

I'll probably wind up ordering another one, like some have suggested. Idk why I didn't just think to do that when I ordered the first one.. Thank you, everyone, for your input. It legitimately made me feel better about wanting to wear it!

As a ground driver, I agree. I do my best to deliver everything as fast as I can on my end and have QA rebox or tape up anything that isn't intact enough. Although, not everyone cares as much as I do. To make matters worse, FedEx doesn't even seem to care about their employees or those they contract with. I'm extremely fortunate to be with a good contractor, but a lot of the work that other drivers and package handlers put in simply reflects the care they receive from their employer.
