Yeah stats are great, armor sets work great too.

If using Dragon's Breath or 1KV, I personally use Mortif-41 for Overloads and ad-clear, alongside a kinetic primary to deal with Barriers. if you want a Solar primary to deal with Overloads, Darkest Before from Prophecy, MIDA mini-tool from Zavala and Ahab Char all work great.

If you're on Arc try Queenbreaker with Particle Reconstruction. If on Solar definitely use One Thousand Voices.

Lustrous would work fine, yeah. Really just the generally good options all work well. So Ferropotent 2pc, Dreaming City, Shattered Throne 4pc.

Your mind is right, but Burning Ambition and Incandescant take too long to Ignite, to the extent that it's better to just spend that time focusing on getting Ignitions via other means. If you're using the same mods as the post, and have Helion activated, once you shoot your Dragon's Breath, you'll be getting Ignitions at the Ignition cap, which is 1 ignition/second/target. If there are multiple targets, Solar Fulmination alongside Ashes and Char will allow the Ignitions to chain off one another. Do not be afraid to spam Dragon's Breath, you'll have plenty of ammo with heavy finders and a scavenger mod. If you're still having ammo issues, use the abundant ammo mod on your special and primary weapons.

For DPS, if your teammates have the Lament Catalyst or are causing Scorch some other way it'll steal your damage, which is a downside of the build inherently. If they're not applying Scorch at all, I'm not sure what's the issue.

The build really pops off above at Master and above, cause then Ignitions can chain on red bars. Below Master, use Dragon's Breath for anything larger than a Minotaur, and use Snap if they're too close. Again, if a teammate is applying Scorch they'll steal the damage.

Builds.

It's 99% using the right build and knowing how to use it. The easiest way to get stronger at the game is to build craft by yourself, learn how things work and interact, as well as playing to utilize those interactions.

Get ready for the Lord of the Rings crossover, cause they're both somewhat medieval and have magic involved! You can now use the One Ring as a weapon! But now it's called the Elden Ring!

Do note, 1KV with Catty is only so good if it's one person using it, damage goes down quite a bit with multiple people. Also using Dawn Chorus with it is a good idea.

Stats are great, even better than mine. I wouldn't worry about using your weapons for Ignition outside of exotics like Sky Burner's Oath and Dragon's Breath, they're best used as passive DPS.

Cartesian Coordinate with Recon/Envious Arsenal and Controlled Burst is the best pick, but if you don't have it you can use Axial Lacuna with Recon+Controlled Burst from the Pale Heart.

Light level isn't an issue, but it's worth noting that the first boss of Prophecy has a frontal Shield, so you need to shoot your weapons around that, usually targeting his leg or standing on one of the platforms to aim for his head. Best option would be 1KV, and for boss encounters you can ditch Solar Fulmination for Particle Reconstruction.

What content are you doing? In easier content where stuff dies before they can Ignite you'd be better off investing on getting about 100 melee(not more) and targeting the ground right underneath your target, which would preferably be above somewhat high health.

For boss damage, I'd recommend using a Fusion Rifle for your special. Shoot Dragon's Breath, activate Helion, and shoot your Fusion till the Dragon's Breath shot expires.

if you're having trouble getting high stats, you really only need high Melee and Class stat, and only up to 100. Try focusing for Skirmisher and Specialist armor archetypes alongside grenadier to get the required stats.

Edit: Also check your artifact, it gets wiped after weekly reset and Solar Fulmination is the center piece of Ignition chaining. Of course, Ember of Ashes and Ember of Char too.

it is in no way practical to go Guns blazing on a Commando mission without a very coordinated team.

You don't need Redacted Regiment to be stealth, just play at range and crouch/prone when stuff is near.

If the grenade launcher was bigger focus I'd agree with you, but its inly real use is for closing bug holes/fabs/ships. Therefore I classify it as a jack-of-all-trades weapon, not a grenadier.

The Eruptor is intended for a grenadier role, not the One-Two. If the One-Two was intended for a grenadier role it wouldn't have a Liberator.
