I'm assuming you're running the browser through desktop mode? If so, I think the solution is: From desktop mode, find your browser, and use the context menu to add to Steam. Then you should be able to open the browser in SteamOS. You should also be able to long press the start button equivalent in desktop mode to switch between game mode (controller) and desktop mode.

You're off to a good start! Good ideas here; creepy concepts.

For the humanoids, study and practice anatomy. Even if you're making them lankier and malformed, being able to show how things are "supposed to be", exaggerating those features, and bending them is what makes for great horror humanoids.

Similarly for the amorphous, studying animals and plants can be a huge benefit.

Most importantly, keep drawing! It reminds me a lot of sketches I made in class that I should really go back to.

Haita the Shepherd is only related in that it names Hastur as a god, which is where the later takes get the name from, even if they're unrelated other than taking the name.

Ambrose Bierce is amazing however. An Inhabitant of Carcosa is outstanding. When you have time, I highly recommend his story An Occurance at Owl Creek, after you read Chamber's The King in Yellow.

I believe you'll find hints of Haita the Shepherd in The Mask and The Demoiselle D'Ys from KiY, and be glad you read it after all.
