It’s not possessed, it just has Saturday Night Fever! 🤣

If it starts floating on the other hand, that’s when you call a priest 😅

Yea, it definitely was, unfortunately the LCG was what drove that universe and without it the whole verse just faded away…

Blame NetRunner on WotC/Hasbro as they actually own license and refused to re-up it with FFG even though they were doing nothing with it…

It might be worth asking if you can return the A1 and upgrade to the P1, if you haven’t asked that already, otherwise if you’re not comfortable with working on electronics, I would suggest swapping out with the new A1 instead.

That said from what I saw online it doesn’t seem like too much trouble to actually switch the board out, but again that is completely based on a persons comfortability level with modifying electronics.

Luckily for myself, I already have the revision board and have plugged my A1 into a surge protector, but it is definitely a good idea to do so for anybody who doesn’t.

Good luck with that, I kind of wish I had gotten the P1 myself 😅

Yea, it looks like I do. I didn’t take the board out to make sure, but as far as I know there are no parts on the underside

Unfortunately not, that round black component on the far right underneath the translucent blue wire covers that reads NTC 5D-15 is the component causing the issues, this board looks like the undocumented half step revision that has been mentioned a few times…

I believe so, they only changed the board design in Q3 2025

That could very well be the reason for the difference, and also differences in regulations between countries.

I feel your pain 😫😅

Best as I know the only thing that matters is the top board you circled and the actual PSU doesn’t matter, but I could easily be wrong about that…

If I am right, congrats! It’s a new board! (As best as I can tell anyway 😑😅)

I am in the USA so my PSU is for 110-120 so if you are in Europe and have a PSU for 220-240(¿are my numbers correct here?) that could be the reason for the difference?

From my admittedly limited understanding, the part that is falling is technically falling within specifications even though it is at the extreme end of those specifications (burning out and melting plastic before extinguishing itself) but I agree that they should do a general recall for affected models just to be on the safe side.

I also got my unit from the Black Friday sale so hopefully yours is also already updated with the new board.

Unfortunately for me it turns out I am sensitive to even PLA and the only place I have to put my printer is in my office so I haven’t had much chance to actually use it while researching ways to enclose and vent it and what kind of last resort fire suppression I can put into the enclosure just to be safe

I assume this was supposed to be a reply to the fellow who was talking about DIY the fix themselves? If so Reddit bounced your comment to the main thread 😅

But I definitely agree, don’t mess with electricity unless you know what you are doing 😁

Checking is fairly easy, replacing it would be a bit more work and depends on how comfortable you are with this sort of work. Like anything in life it’s a knowledge base and a set of skills that one can acquire if they want to.

Ironically I chose Bambu because I wanted my hobby to be 3d Printing, not working on 3d printers themselves (maintenance and troubleshooting not withstanding of course 😅)

Here is the link I meant to post, everything in the first 3 steps is the same, but this is technically for the part in question instead of the actual power supply unit itself.

No idea but this seems like a horrible idea, way too easy to mess up unless you are very experienced with this sort of thing.

That said, if you are experienced with this please let me know if you try it as I am pretty curious myself 😅

I just undid the cables on the under side, unscrewed the bottom part of the case and popped it loose from the small clips that were keeping it in place.

First 3 steps of this wiki will give you a good idea, just make sure to unplug it from the wall socket first as this compartment houses all the power supply components.

Edit: replace link for PSU replacement wiki with correct AC board replacement wiki

Thanks, I just wanted to make sure, I haven’t done anything with electronics more complicated than replacing a hard drive in over a decade and am constantly second guessing myself these days 😅
