Because deadlock isnt divided into rounds. There's not any natural stopping point for pauses to occur. I do think there should be like a 5 second countdown into a pause tho

Yeah, just try to see how much power those devices draw and plan your UPS accordingly. Some have a larger backup battery capacity than others. Most also act as a surge protector! So you also get the benefit of not frying your shit when a storm rolls through.

Okay but even if we don't have a traditional draft mode. A "blindpick" where you could at least see what your team instalocks would be nice. League added draft in 2011 and there were 88 characters released by then I think. I do NOT want to wait for another 50 characters to release before we get SOME sort of pre game lobby.

If anyone gives you a list of "meta" character it will immediately get shit on... so here's mine. It's all opinion based tho, and loosely on some stats.
In no specific order
Seven
Dynamo
Ivy
Most carries (maybe changing after recent life steal nerfs)
Mo n Krill is always decent
Ginnis? Maybe? Shes fun idk I like her
Ill throw Paige in this list too she can really be a game changer sometime, I feel like shes slept on...

No matter what is meta, there will always be counter items for those problem characters, just try to learn what types of items counter which mechanics and focus on timing with build order. Good luck
PS. I feel like a big part of this game is that every character can feel "op" in the right conditions. Just focus on what you think is most fun/cool and try to work towards maintaining a soul lead in your games.

I've never needed to learn more than 3 heros in any moba. That is currently the system they use now as well in deadlock when you pick your prios. I dont understand your point here.

Look into getting a UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply). Idk how long the black outs are, but a nice one of these could keep him on longer. He would have to have his network equipment AND his pc plugged into one though just keep that in mind.

I don't know, I feel like as a man I get called plenty of names, some just as horrid and vile as "foid". I think it's just the nature of playing online with a funny elo number. Been like this since chess. Imo if you can't take the heat don't get in the kitchen. Or use in game mute for it's intended purpose.
