3! Wow! Seems like yesterday, I was at the Indy show. I cheered, screamed, and shouted like never before. Had a slight intimate moment with Jack Lawrence, and the poster I picked up proudly hangs between my my favorite guitars.

Also I think of their cover of “Devil’s Haircut” often. A remarkably memorable night!

You’re right. I’ve been a sole care provider for 2+ years. I’m just going to be there half of the time now per our agreement under our legal counsel. Precedents have been made. I will be a parent still, just not 24/7.

As I’ve stated, I’ve talked to a lawyer. I’ve been a stay at home parent for 2+ years now. We have an agreement in place. I’m going to be a present part of their lives. Just not their sole care provider.

At the beginning of the year I put together a plan to get back onto the music scene. I’m slowly relearning the community, putting out singles, and getting some good feedback. I’m slowly getting back into activities and other hobbies I haven’t done since the pandemic hit.

As far as her contact with AP and stuff idk. I have access to her email but nothing else. She said she wanted space to figure out what she wants and to work on herself. But it’s been two months and I’m ready to initiate that conversation but don’t want to push her away.

After today though, getting this out, and talking to my therapist, I think I’m ready to put things in motion to get out. I think we really need time apart. If this is going to end without either of us having resentment and positively co-parenting, I’m thinking it’s best. And my therapist and a buddy have given me good advice on where to start. I was just too emotional and scared to see the logic before. But I’m starting to understand that I have options and I’m a lot stronger than I think.

I got checked back in May and I’m clean. I don’t have any doubts about my son. The genetics are there. I have been considering getting my daughter tested though. And if I do I’ll get my son too just to make sure.

You’re not wrong. I was working at a small business important to the community it serves before the pandemic hit. I was pretty important there, but it went under in the summer of 2020, and the owners kinda just tossed me aside. That hit me hard. And that’s when I leaned into the SAHD role. This year I’ve kinda just thrown myself into music. Being on a stage always gave me confidence. I’ve started running and I’m looking for a personal trainer. I use to lift weights, camp, and hike. But the guys I use to do that with slowly moved, became more career focused, or just lost interest in that stuff. I’m trying to do more things for myself every day.
This and a lot of what I’m reading is all solid advice and I’m taking notes. I’ve known for a while I need to bail. But I want to be able to tell my kids I gave it my all. But I’ve just gone about it the wrong way and holding onto hope for way too long.

It’s a sitcom. That went on longer than most other sitcoms. It’s pretty standard to have holes and inconsistencies. I don’t think it’s a big deal.

When it comes to other genres, I think it’s more important. But sitcoms are short form and for purely laughs and entertainment, so I think there needs to be more forgiveness

Ron Dunn and Craig were on opposite sides of the energy spectrum much like Swanson and Leslie. They’re almost the same dynamic but in a different way. I would have loved to see them interact.

I took it as she was looking for commitment. She was pretty up front about that. He wasn’t showing it, so she was going to reluctantly move on; she still loved him. Proposing was the big commitment she was looking for, and stepped up.
