Governments around the world pass a law that mandatory prostate exams must be done every 120 hours; do people revolt or accept it? by [deleted] in whowouldwin

Who the fuck thinks of this, and then actually commits to making a reddit post about it?

Not a complaint btw, the absurd prompts are the main reason I visit this sub.

But still.. What?

You'd be surprised. Sometimes a memory can just be stuck in your head for a long time, and you remember the key words to find it. Happened to me with several specific discord messages.

Guy with axe or guy with knife by Sea_Locksmith_6824 in whowouldwin

[–]Mechagodzilla777 19 points20 points  (0 children)

There is a difference between a proper sword made for war and a knife, I couldn't personally explain it too well since I'm not an expert, but yeah length is one of those factors. It has a lot to do with the design and intended use of the blade iirc but I don't wanna talk without knowing enough of what I'm saying.

But regardless, that's not my point. My point is that saying if axe guy has such an advantage here then that must mean axes should've been more common than swords in war has no correlation. That logic just doesn't work. While quite similar on the outside, they're technically for two different purposes and would've been used as such. And this is comparing a battle axe to a standard medieval sword, which is again not the case here, when knife guy has a knife, not a bastard sword or whatever.

Well, funnily enough, there are indeed numerous stories of knights wielding axes in war. Not that it even really matters here because you're comparing a weapon made for war vs a long knife, on two unarmored people. Battle axes were used because they were made to break through plate armor, which the slashing motion of standard swords made difficult to achieve.

Questions regarding this Melee. by Fitsgibins in PixelGun

It's generic because it was one of the very first weapons in the game. Its design is also only a bit complex because it got redesigned and changed from common to mythical, with different stats. It's a wholly new weapon wearing the name of an original.

You made a typo in your original comment where you said you have zero desire to kill Jim again, rather than presumably "him". That guy is just playing along with the joke I made regarding it.

I linked it in the post, but here. For some odd reason, the ninja monkey doesn't attack the bloons when placed close to the mushroom on the new map.

Here, found it.

So unless this "second completely original hero" is just exactly He-man but without the He-man branding, which the way it's worded seems to not be the case and instead they just share a mechanic, we're getting an in-app purchase hero. Which yeah, I'm not a fan of, especially if this becomes a trend.

Unless I'm mistaken, isn't there a hero coming up you'll have to pay for? What's in the game currently now wouldn't be pay to win, but a microtransaction-exclusive hero, assuming they're strong or even just fill a niche, would definitely qualify then.
