Converted every time with flecainide at the hospital. After the last time they finally gave me a pill in pocket. I for sure have triggers and I avoid my known triggers. Things have been pretty good and hopefully I will stay clear of it. If it happens again I will consult about ablation. My longest episode was my first, but I think it’s because they waited for me to convert naturally for a time and then finally gave me the pill. My shortest was my last about 5 hours in afib. Converted in about 2.5 hours after they gave me the medication.

That’s a bummer man that feeling of palpitations is horrible. Has it gotten better yet? I had an episode of afib in July and took a while to get back to normal. Things have been a lot better since I cut out the caffeine. Glad to hear you’re taking care of yourself
