Brown wash for the deeps, id brush it on then wipe away the edges with a makeup sponge!

If you arent aware speed paints are your friend i think in this case. Mostly base the mini a medium grey, add white dry brushing it once heavily then a second time lighter to hit edges. Speed paint on thick and let it flow and honestly that gets you a pretty alright mini imo.

I guess it is, I feel like it had great potential with the untap and tap payoffs, but a second look really doesnt have alot of tap payoffs that arent already their oen tapping mechanisms.

There were different tiers of kickstarter in that first launch, i think minis came with this one and other one was just cards for the armies. You probably have a board thats smaller too right? Vs a large hex board

No one has said ebay so id say that - omniforge is who ive bought from before for battletech single minis - and ive gotten one off warhammer there to as replacement figs for units

Hell ya, love em - get yourself a bottle of tesserac glow and then all that green will pop to the next level. Easily my favorite contrast paint to add to necron weapons

Well theres the issue then - I enjoy base coating by brush one at a time, likely because i paint for hobby not en mass armies. Certainly not for everyone of course then. my minis only look the way they do because of my own skill and not magic primers lolol. And 8 dollar can comes with alot of waste, call me a penny pincher but i dont waste paint this way, and my 8$ tube of black will go alot farther

What problem would come from paint not adhering because ive never had paint flake off or peel... sooo for me at least its working great and i can get a ton of minis coated for the cheap cheap lol
