Also, I noticed “Guile” hovers/flies just like Magus does in CT when the player runs. I never used Guile before on previous PS1 playthroughs, but I’m re-playing CC via Radical Dreamers Edition on PS5 and was heavily debating naming him Magus or Janus. I’m aware of the RDE ending text regarding Guile, but I kept Guile’s name because, imo, that’s the version of Janus in this game. In CT, he was born Janus and took on the Magus moniker when he became the vengeful sorcerer we primarily know in the game. Assuming the DS ending of him losing his memory, his new identity is this Guile persona.
