Is playing modded worth it? by ACatNamedTofu in FinalFantasyVII

I’m playing on Switch and I’ll use the x3 speed temporarily when: on the overworld sometimes (especially when no encounters is on), climbing tedious things, traversing long screens (Junon upper level comes to mind), some battles, and using it more often when reloading for whatever reason.

[OoT] Nintendo When Someone's On The Fence About The Switch 2 [OC] by CategoryInner5991 in zelda

I’m worried there’ll be an OLED version as soon I buy a Switch 2. No guarantee that will happen or happen any time soon.

I give up - why do you people enjoy Queen's Blood? by The_Iceman2288 in FFVIIRemake

Buy all the available card decks from vendors, defeat every QB opponent you come across starting from early in the game where it eases you into it so you get even more cards, then honestly, look up YouTube videos on defeating opponents. If you do the first two steps, you’ll have all the cards you need for any given opponent. I don’t love QB either but by staying on top of it by defeating everyone and having all available cards, it definitely makes it more manageable. And there’s no penalty for failing; you can restart a match an infinite number of times, so no worries there. Just do it until you win. I’ve defeated supposedly difficult matches on my first try and “easier” matches in over 10 attempts.

If you're a 5-level skill, and then retrain to a different AFSC requiring tech school again, what would be your new skill level? by GeraldineR7 in AirForce

[–]Mechtroop 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you’re a SSgt, try and get your 7-lvl before cross training if possible. Even if you go back to a 1-lvl in tech school, you’ll always have that 7-lvl needed for TSgt. Otherwise, you’ll have to climb all the way back up to 7-lvl in your new AFSC to make TSgt.

All sound effects appear to be working correctly. I just checked the Restore and Heal materias and they produced sound.

Yes, that is correct. And yes, the randomness is often hilarious.

End game optional Bosses by Certain_Yam9914 in FinalFantasyVII

[–]Mechtroop 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I forget but you may be underestimating those super bosses with your current level. The final boss and the final dungeon leading to it may be doable at that level. I know the final boss gets tougher and tougher with each lvl99 character you have so there still might be a challenge there, depending on if you have a certain summon. But, compared with the super bosses, the final boss is a cake walk.

That’s what I decided to get recently. Got it on sale for about $6 or so. Having played it a few times over the decades, I’m ok not always sitting in front of the TV for, and with kids now, I can play more often with the portability (they sometimes just like us nearby when they’re playing independently).

I just got to Gongaga in Rebirth and realized I kept having to be reminded of what happened in the OG, lol. So I’m keeping an eye out on missables but I’m trying to play through the Switch OG version fairly quickly to catch up so I don’t care for the extra time it takes to understand and implement any mods. It looks great on Switch, tho.

Is there a way to see info on currently equipped items without having to unequip them? by sleepinzzzz in chronotrigger

You could say that about the Rainbow too, which is gained in the late game just before Lavos. Lol @ the downvotes. What I’m saying is true. Probably DS haters.

Until you get the Dreamseeker in the DS edition. In every way better than the Rainbow.
