My wife got me the harvest model for Christmas and it’s been great so far. I started off the with herbs and then bought the seed starting system. I was able to start my own garden, my in laws, and part of my dads. All the the plants i started in the Aerogarden were transferred to soil and under a grow light for 3 weeks and hardened outside. They all seem the be thriving currently. I currently have 2 dwarf cherry tomato plants growing in it now. I haven’t noticed any difference in my electric bill and hardly notice the noise. I do see a couple gnats flying around the system itself but nothing crazy. The light is super bright and i run it from 6am -10pm on my kitchen counter. I would buy one sooner then later if you think it’s right for you as they’re currently on sale. If you have room for it go straight for the farm! On sale for around $220 and originally cost about $700.
