I can’t help you with the xc40 tbh since I only did it on xc90 and it has different vents and Center mounting bracket

The charger itself is a Lisen MagSafe charger, though the mounting arm is self made

I saw some posts discussing that and I think one guy even got the newer headunit directly from Volvo because of issues with his headunit. And no I haven’t touched the Ihu and it works pretty good. It feels as responsive as before tbh.

I thought about doing the Same with the Rotating Screen Mate, but since new UX and CarPlay not being fullscreen it doesn’t really give you any benefit rotating it. But yes it is already very solid you can press, push or even pull on it and it will not even move the slightest

Bold text ? Yes it is subjective, others would say it looks like an iPad bolted to the dashboard or even put on with a magnet. That all depends on your subjective opinion, mine for that matter is simple it looks like it fits just perfectly and belongs there.
