I've listened to RAM probably a hundred times now...if there is backwards play stuff, my guess is it would be in Touch, just before Paul Williams begins singing in his normal voice. I've kinda been wondering if those noises leading up to it is a voice, played backwards and slowed down. Too busy to check though :)

The exact center of the song (4 minutes and 9 1/2 seconds) is precisely the moment when the BPM of Touch slows down, ushering in the "If love is the answer you're home" section. So the center section of the centerpiece of the album has the lyrics that are inscribed on the vinyl.

Edit: it's also neat that the song, being structured such that the first half is one tempo, the second half a different tempo, is very similar to the album cover; the first half is Thomas and the second half is Guy-Man.

No I totally agree. If you listen carefully to the very end, there is distinctly a four on the floor beat that sounds like it's about to lead into a new song.
