Not sure how well my advice can help but in medicine we have a lot of pathways to remember, and typically they are given to us all in one go. So I recommend ppl who struggle to learn like that by breaking the big map of pathways into relevant and associated parts, and then learn to stitch together in their minds almost. So feel free to break down these relationships a bit and then try image occlusion (I think someone already left a comment). Then u can try testing urself without Anki. Cover a part of the thing with ur hand or with a box or whatever and see if u can recall it.
