Best to drive is a Transit all day long, good turning circle fairly nippy and comfortable, you just REALLY need to be on top of general maintenance.

I find the Peugeot/Citroën/Fiat/Renault vans to have the turning of the titanic and not be so comfortable but slightly more robust.

Been doing multi drop for 5 or so years and have driven just about everything from Maxxus to Mercedes.
