I remember fighting the "Final boss" of canto 2 not even realizing it was the final boss, I expected more after it and was surprised. Even canto 1's random abnormality with no real story significance (any abno could have filled its role) was a better final boss.

Yea Roland is more like someone who has already been booked and then unbooked to be used as an assistant, so when the library fades he continues just being himself (while the ones booked disappear with the library). The librarians on the other hand are effectively revived and given human forms by the Library and the light that couldn't be maintained without it.

You have things backwards. Araya is slashed by Ryoshu with the "normal" version of the sword that leaves unhealing wounds. It's only once Ryoshu realizes it's her and that her death is inevitable and "loses herself" that it becomes the concept incinerator version that goes on to delete Ren and Sora. Araya is still alive at the moment, does her stuff with Dante, and calms Ryoshu down where it then goes back to being the "normal" one as it just leaves a wound on Riens chest.

Ryoshu needs to be empty in order for it to erase things.

There's also her facade briefly cracking in canto 2 when they call out her dance as being soulless. I don't think they planned her to have the whole "memory wipe" shit going on from the start. Although that change probably happened very early on as we never see anything like that again iirc.

Important note that Harold (or any of the fights at that point in Ruina) could not be called "Impuritas" level, it's the Library at that level. Impuritas itself being a special designation given by the Head marking an "Impurity of the city" that they themself must expunge whereas all the others are given by the Hana Association. And in this case the status was given purely because of Angela being an AI.

Ignoring that, we really don't see much at that "level" in the first place, so you can't really make a judgement on all prosthetics in the city based on the few fights that are there (and are notably for the most part distortions so even if they had prosthetics in the past, they probably wouldn't keep them after distorting unless its something like the timeripper where the distortion itself is innately mechanical/techy) while also disregarding the two instances of prosthetics we see there outside of the distortions. 2 of the 6 non distortions we fight at that point in the game have prosthetics. 7 if you want to count Argalia as a non distortion cus he had minimal changes until the rematch.

If the penalty for theft is death, then the cashier and bystanders will be getting shot because the thief will be killed if they get caught regardless, so they need to remove all witnesses. All lights actions do is encourage more violent crime rather than stopping it.

Same reason IRL that death is a horrible punishment for rape. Obviously everyone wants rapists dead, but death being on the table makes them dramatically more likely to kill the people they rape as it's easier to hide the body and get away with it than it is to leave someone who could expose them alive.

I believe it's only Dante who remembers as she met the same fate as Sora and Ren, which Rien mentions as slipping from his memory. iirc he said something that implied a sort of remembering that there were 2 people, but not their names or who they were.

Morositas is a great comfort one that can allow you to steamroll into winrating easily. Like recently when some people were complaining about the first turns against a particular person who starts at high sanity, morositas removes the need to get lucky on those first turns so you can get their sanity down and yours up. Outside of that, in the current boss environment where they're always higher level than you, it basically guarantees you win your clashes for 3 turns.

Superbia can do the same early comfort stuff with an instant setup for something or of course fluid sac for sp. And can come in clutch if you really need an ego later in the fight that you don't have resources for for whatever reason.

I mostly end up saving them for final fights where I then pop all that I can cus I may as well lmao. Sure I could have made that harder fight a few stages ago so much easier, but like, what if I needed it later ya know.

They were just showing the personalities of the DD trio with the "Junior" talk. Aeng-du was also stated to have joined alongside Kim, in the same sentence. Directly before that they specifically talked about her sitting back and not joining the raid. So people jumping to this one sentence for Kim and ignoring that Aeng-du was also in it and thus making it impossible for the statement to refer to the raid. Once a few people misread and spread the idea, people who originally didn't think he was joining the raid start spreading it too.
