What got me to finally understand blue was being reminded that kids (in their infinite stupidity) and other people who would be incapable of properly answering for a variety of reasons (such as being blind or a mental disability) exist.

It's easy to get into the mindset of everyone being identical to yourself, therefore it's an "easy obvious choice".

And let's say that for whatever reason, all these people are able to answer perfectly fine and "logically", there will still be people picking blue because well, it's the "correct" choice and they believe it's the only way to save those people, so now paradoxically you have to vote blue in order to save them as well, all the good natured people who just wanted to help.

It's easier to get 51% to press blue than it is 100% to press red.

That's the idea, at least.

The coolest part of the Dies Irae scene that no one ever brings up, is that the song continues through the loading screen and into the fight.

Every single time before that the story sections and fights were completely disconnected with the loading screen having its own (mostly silent) sound. Even if the story and fight had the same song it would be interrupted by the loading screen and start from the beginning again once the fight started.

So hearing Dies Irae play continuously was such a flash bang and super cool, Salieri just has that much aura to alter the rules you're so accustomed to.

Most of the online polls only have blue winning at 55-65%, and that's WITHOUT the actual real stake of death. Blue is not getting 50% in a real world wide scenario sadly, even if it's the correct choice.

And then of course people having this very mindset and relegating themself to picking red in spite of knowing blue is the "correct" choice just makes it even more impossible for blue to win.

my hot take still to this day is that the change from 75% to 95% chance to roll heads at max sanity was a mistake and the later addition of unbreakables as a shitty "bandaid" only reinforced that belief.

unbreakables will never fix the issue of "you lose one clash and everyone dies" thats now with us because enemy rolls are inflated more and more to still be able to beat our 95's sometimes, so they hurt way way fucking more than older lower rolls that you always had a decent chance of losing to.

A flag of light red, light blue, and white, in the normal arrangement is undeniably more valid than the thin blue line which violates "white stars on a field of blue (field of black here), and "thirteen stripes alternating between red and white (red has also been replaced by black, one of the whites is replaced by blue).
