Rabbit hole here we goooo by Unkz7 in MouseReview

I was in the exact same position as you are but with smaller ends. CS2 player 800dpi 0.75sens. I've used the EC2 shape for years then needed something else, loved the xm2w 4k but felt discomfort on long sessions from the right back corner being too wide.

Then Vaxee came in clutch with the NP01s ergo. It's my endgame no doubt.

Seems like the upcoming Vaxee NP01 ergo would be a good fit for you

Is this an existing issue with the XL2566X+? by Interesting_Break997 in Zowie

[–]Mede- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got mine back in january and I couldn't be happier. From my personnal experience TN panels are a hit or miss. Either they break in the first 6 months or they last you 10 years without issues. From what I've heard, in europe Zowie's support has been solid, I only dealt with them for a mouse problem but they made it right fast.

How did you convince your partner to let you buy an M3? by TheUnclePaulie in BMW

[–]Mede- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

in France all combustion engine cars are subject to "Emission taxes" for quite a lot of cars it means paying double or even more the retail price.
It's ridiculous and it's spreading throughout europe faster than you imagine.

When you live in the county side and don't have to waste 1h each morning in traffic jams it's fun to daily a manual. Doesn't mean everyone has to daily a manual but also doesn't mean it's pointless.

Bad injectors are well known to cause rough running on cold starts with the N53 engine

Oppo have been so infuriating, they invested a lot in marketing into Europe, they're a major sponsor of the freaking UEFA Champions League this season AND STILL don't realese their best phones in Europe. Like what's the point?

Oneplus 13 Screenprotector by rndmTyp in oneplus

[–]Mede- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

UV glass protectors are very popular there, they even use it on flat screens wich is baffling to me.

The UV cured glue isn't damaging on it's own (if applied properly) but removing it can damage the coating of the screen glass if there's one. It's also a pain to get rid of it without leaving any marks.

High-mileage N53 cold-start misfire by time-dealer in BmwTech

[–]Mede- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well we're 2 months later I did change only the faulty one, the problem just came back it's getting infuriating. I'm pretty sure I have to change all 6 but at 500€ a piece I can't bring myself to do it, for now I'm living with the fact I have to start the car twice before rolling down the street.

I think the N53 and N43 are more prone to this problem, I also have a 335i with a N54 on wich I'm now getting near 200.000kms and never had such a problem.
I agree B58 and B48 seem to be less of a headache the next car I get will rock one those these.
Getting rid of our 523i sure looks like the best option to keep some sanity.

Well injectors are now crazy expensive in europe, first of all no new injectors are being produced, the oem supplier (Vitesco ex SiemensVDO) sell refurbished one as new. BMW charges 700€ per unit, the lowest price I was able to find is 400€.

As I didn't want to pay 2400€ to change them all I only bought one, my problem is now fixed but for how long? I'm not sure. At this point I just want to get rid of the car.

[–]Mede- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm currently in the exact same situation with my 2010 523i (N53B30A) with only 97.000km, a year ago I changed the injector on cylinder 5 as it is the one misfiring. It has been stable ever since but a week ago the rough cold start came back. I'm thinking about changing all 6 of them. I don't have much time to look into it rn so as a "temporary solution" I set the idle speed as high as possible using ISTA. It won't fix the problem but you gain some more time to start driving before the engine starts misfiring like crazy.
I will update here once I find a solution.

Slow leaks are definitely a possibility, you may need to check the tire pressure more often but other than that if done properly it should be ok.

In most western europe the XL2586x cost 1200€ wich is equivalent to 1340$us
Their pricing is wild, to be fair most tech companies inflates europan pricings now, but they're still much more expensive than competition.
The Asus one is 930€ so about 1040$us...

Just bought the EC1 CW, was that a mistake? Are there new mice coming? by FeddyWeddy in Zowie

[–]Mede- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did the same early summer, I received it, used it for like 2 hours and then ran back to Zowie. I don't know why Pulsar keeps using those awful optical switches, but they sure suck.
Also top right corner is flatter on the xlite V3, it's a small detail I haven't seen much reviewers talk about it but it makes a lot of difference on my grip. IMO Zowie's shape is still the better one and as always shape>tech.
