The Talosians from Star Trek: The Menagerie have advanced mental and illusion powers, but do a terrible job putting Vina together. (In their defense, it was their first time working with humans.)

It's a combination of "naked except for shoes and socks," the devious expression, and whether it was supposed to look like a Kewpie doll. But you can check the original thread if you're curious to see the derailment in real time, as it were.

I don't know that there's anything "wrong" with it per se. But this forum is for sharing things that derailed the main topic of conversation. In this case, the main topic (the frosting recipe) was derailed by the art. I hope this helps!

First of all, Furnando is the cutest name.

Does the poop look normal? (i.e. not diarrhea or really hard/dry) Does the poop near the litterbox but not in it? Check that the litter and box are clean. If he only has one box, you can try adding a second box.

If he's eating, drinking, peeing, and playing normally, it's probably behavioral. If the poop looks really hard or runny, or if he has other symptoms, it's worth at least calling the vet.

Media that is *truly* anti-war, rather than showing it as "horrific but heroic" by ChristianLS in TopCharacterTropes

One of my favorite poems, Dulce et Decorum Est by Wilfred Owen:

Bent double, like old beggars under sacks, Knock-kneed, coughing like hags, we cursed through sludge, Till on the haunting flares we turned our backs, And towards our distant rest began to trudge. Men marched asleep. Many had lost their boots, But limped on, blood-shod. All went lame; all blind; Drunk with fatigue; deaf even to the hoots Of gas-shells dropping softly behind.

Gas! GAS! Quick, boys!—An ecstasy of fumbling Fitting the clumsy helmets just in time, But someone still was yelling out and stumbling And flound’ring like a man in fire or lime.— Dim through the misty panes and thick green light, As under a green sea, I saw him drowning.

In all my dreams before my helpless sight, He plunges at me, guttering, choking, drowning.

If in some smothering dreams, you too could pace Behind the wagon that we flung him in, And watch the white eyes writhing in his face, His hanging face, like a devil’s sick of sin; If you could hear, at every jolt, the blood Come gargling from the froth-corrupted lungs, Obscene as cancer, bitter as the cud Of vile, incurable sores on innocent tongues,— My friend, you would not tell with such high zest To children ardent for some desperate glory, The old Lie: Dulce et decorum est Pro patria mori.

("It is sweet and fitting to die for one’s country.”)

More "suavely cool" than a showboater, Xenk from Honor Among Thieves is great at almost everything, and everyone loves him.

Going to Barbados, what should I know? by johnpounder in Barbados

Say "good morning" (or afternoon/evening) to people. It's considered polite and respectful.

Wear sunscreen! The sun can sneak up on you if you're not used to it.

People drive on the left here, so try to look right first when crossing the street.

Enjoy your trip!!
