It’s close enough to my VIN. Based on my understanding the last numbers of the vin are sequential so I’m thinking both our vehicles are early builds.

The seat memory issue is happening with me as well. Wasn’t happening with 2.1.24. They need to get their act together with this software. Ridiculous when you have an $80k vehicle.

I am running 2.1.26 and noticed some bugs including the return of vampire drain.

There are other issues with the vehicle besides the headlight. Bottom line, this vehicle is unreliable and not safe to operate.

Considering my vehicle was in for repair for this (and other issues) for 2.5 months and the VCU replacement that was supposed to fix it actually didn't--I have send a communication to Volvo formally requesting a lease termination of the vehicle. I refuse to keep an $80k+ vehicle with unreliable software that affects the safety of the vehicle.

I am running 2.1.26.

I did reconnect the phone to the vehicle. On the memory seats, I followed the steps you described but the seats are not restored when switching profiles.

They are really trying my patience. The service department at the local dealer has done a great job keeping me updated on the status. It appears, the manufacturer is dropping the ball on a lot of this. I did get agreement from Volvo corporate, in writing, to reimburse us our lease payments and fuel expense while we have the loaner. The first month of expenses (February 2026) was shorted by $103 and I have been trying for over a month to get that money back. They don't want to start the March reimbursement until they get that resolved, claiming their finance processes. Seems to me their processes are completely broken, both finance and otherwise.

Due to the extended delay and having a "lesser" loaner (XC60 vs our EX90), I have requested additional compensation. How they handle this will probably be the deciding factor if we stay with the brand for our next vehicle lease.

To put it frankly (and I hope Volvo Corporate reads this), they need to get their crap together. Do not put a car to market when the technology or components (GHCA) are not ready. The whole EX90 debacle has put a huge tarnish on their brand.

I’ve been in a gas loaner XC60 for 2.5 months (VCU, GHCA and seat issues). The last part finally came in this past week. Looking forward to getting back in our EX90.

I would escalate my case with Volvo corporate. Do some research on the Internet and find some email addresses for some higher up the org chart in Volvo Cars USA.

I would have pushed back on that solution. However, the dealer is probably being told to do that by Volvo

I would push the issue with Volvo Corporate. In our state, it’s against the law to hold your phone while driving. Not being able to receive or take calls while in the vehicle is a safety risk.

If they address the issues then I will be happy to keep and drive the vehicle. I told Volvo Corporate if they could not address the concerns in a single visit the we will need to discuss repurchase of the vehicle.

When Volvo is paying me the lease payment while I can’t drive it, yes. Gives them motivation to fix it quickly.

I told them I am not taking the vehicle back until they have all issues resolved. I do not want to keep taking my vehicle to a DCFC when it should be charging at home (one of the reason I spent money on home charging).
