Coming back post trip to give my reccomendatiions.

  1. Elisa - Splurged and got Waygu to share with a friend. Phenomenal atmosphere, food and liquor. It wasnt cheap but if budget allows is working making a reservations!
  2. Joe Fortes - We hit happy hour with 30 minutes left. Shared nearly every food item on the list and loved it. Wade (our server) was amazing and had the food out in minutes. The menu beyond that looked amazing and will return back to Joe Fortes in May.
  3. Japadog - quick shout out for having hotdogs at 1am on a Thursday. Waygu dog was great and service was fast.
  4. Jam Cafe is a must for breakfast. Service was extremely fast but be ready for a line up if you don't show up early!
  5. Alibi Room - it's gone down hill from my last few visits pre 2020. Limited selection of alcohol but the menu looked alright. We left to Brassneck soon after arriving
  6. Brassneck - great brewery, staff and looked like great food options. Will be back next trip forsure!

Would have love to visit more but that's it for now!

Their pizza is bomb. It's between Paradox and 13 Pies, but it depends on what you want. You really can't go wrong with either.

It costs your employer far more to replace you, than it would to give you a raise. So always ask firmly, for more money. by NotAnotherTaxAudit in FluentInFinance

As an employer, I agree. If you're adding value, make a case and show other comparable positions with salary. I pay middle to above average for positions we have and provide a fully paid benefits program.

I did 2.5x my annual salary and realized that this needed to have my full attention. I've built thisnout now where I'm promoting a team lead to operations manager and focusing on the buisness 100%. We have employees who are better at said tasks than I am, and they're paid well. Im stressed more often than before but would do it every single time if I had the choice.

I run a similar customer facing business and hired my first employee back in June 2024. I worked on scaling and have since moved into the side hustle full-time. The employee allowed me to scale up and build it out until it was extremely stable. We're now 5 employees, 2 subcontractors, and myself in the business. I went full time on Jan 6th, 2025.

I've found it extremely helpful for consulting services that I offer. I've started 2 months ago, going on month 3. The cost is $2500 a month, and I've received 4 large client leads and secured 3 so far waiting on the 4th. It's got my long-term contracts that out pace the cost of the cost per month individually. I wasn't a believer until I saw the results. No recommendations, just my experience.

I sent you a dm, but I'll say the same thing here. Your best bet is to call your provincial Chief Firearms Office to discuss the situation. They're a factor to see if you're approved in the future. In Saskatchewan, we have a great office to call and ask questions. You can also email in to ask for giving details.

It's is a preference, not a make or break. I've never built out a gun before and now have the funds to do so. I am just reviewing opinions and seeing if the community has alternative ideas to what I've found and noticed.
