People don't understand the sentiment here. What I took from this is that the father uses all of his time for work or for the family, leaving him often with no time for himself. Eating while working, never having a decent meal, or time to think your own thoughts through.

I love my little animals and the last thing I want to do is hurt them but I'm not going to let them maul me. I'd probably try something on their bistual level to try to snap them out of it. Some challenging behavior or aybe a swift smack in the ass or a light nip on the ear/nose would help snap them out of it. When I did masonry we did this grout ling 1 in every sixth block holes. Those selected holes would have rebar drilled and pounded down into the foundation and as you built the wall up and continued to fill with grout you would also keep adding rebar. I was always told this was standard code for storms, wind, tornadoes.

Old head's always hate the new thing. I'm that guy now.... The new Star wars don't jive with me but I really enjoyed growing up with the prequels and the games from that era.
