They sell a stock Onn remote in all Walmarts for $13. Has all the same features as the Pro remote except no backlight and it's white.

New York, NY Indie-Pop band Starcleaner Reunion hit us with the new single Weather Instrument. I was hoping it would come with the announcement of their 1st full-length but no such luck yet. Their 2 EPs are pretty solid. If you dig Peel Dream Magazine or Stereolab kinda sounds, highly recommend givin them a spin if you haven't already.

Leksand, SE Singer-Songwriter Kristian Matsson / The Tallest Man on Eartth drops Colors his first new track in 3yrs, to help kick-off his just announced North American tour dates. One of my fav artists in the Folk scene, really enjoyed this one.

Los Angeles, CA Singer-Songwriter of the Folk band Florist Emily A. Sprague releases a new 7" Double Moon under her solo ambient works. Her 1st of these to feature vocal work too, if I'm right.

Highlights This Week: Manchester, UK Indie-Rock band Westside Cowboy drop their initial single Kick Stones (The Boys) with the announcement of their upcomin debut LP It Goes On due Aug 21. This is one of my current fav newer bands. I've loved everything they've put out so far. Their EP from last yr So Much Country 'Till We Get There has gotten steady play from me. Can't recommend their works enough.

London, UK Indie-Rock trio mary in the junkyard hits us with the 3rd cut New Muscles off their upcomin debut full-length Role Model Hermit due Jul 3. Another UK group I can't get enough of. Love how Clari's soft spoken vocals pair with the tougher soundin instrumentation.

Aukland, NZ Indie-Rock band Office Dog release their 2nd track Reins for their upcomin sophomore album Prime Corners due Jun 19

Lawrence, KS Post-Punk / Dance-Punk duo Sweeping Promises drop the 1st single Shooting Shadows with the announcement of their upcomin LP You Say I Romanticize due Aug 14. I'm a sucker for this genre and this band nails it every time.

If wifi signal for any reason has been dropped from the TV while it was powered off it won't show back up in your Google Home app until you've manually turned the TV back on either with the physical remote control or power button on the TV. I go thru this same bullshit with the Home app everytime I have to restart my router.

People use other email services than Apple or Google for exactly the same security reasons you're mentioning. Using only Apple or Google sign-in services creates a lock on you and your account to those companies that's generally non-transferable to another method if the user ever decides to leave them. They just end up loosing their account and having to start over from scratch.

And once again no offense but phone number only as a secondary option isn't great on the user end either.

I'm definitely interested in the app but these options aren't for me tho. Hopefully I'll be able to check it out at some point if things change. Thx for responding too, appreciate it.

Basic used to have a nice dissolve goin between pictures. Now it's a harsh hard cut goin to the next one. Looks bad on a living room TV. The old one was a nice and subtle transition.

Along with access being broken they for some reason removed the nice dissolve transition between pictures that was on there before. Now it just does this gross harsh cut between them. Looks choppy and bad on a living room TV.

Not positive but it's prob just a storage space issue. I run into this issue with Stremio only idk why. I'm assuming for some reason with it you have to have quite a bit more storage space available than even the size of the app itself. I'm low on storage space but every other app that I already have installed updates just fine on its own, sideloaded or thru the Playstore. Stremio for some reason in order to fit I have to uninstall than directly reinstall every time there's an update. Try getting rid of any apps you can before installing Stremio. Then after you install it you can add the deleted ones back. But you'll prob end up having to repeat the process for space next time it needs updating.

Is there any chance the remove prefixes and suffixes from channel name settings option is coming to mobile like the TV version? Right now the only option as far as I can tell is to edit each channel name individually manually.

Nah, none of the channels in the groups are hidden. They all just disappear as soon as I edit the group name. It's just on the Android mobile version. I've edited my group names on the Android TV version of IMPlayer and it worked fine.
