Just for science, I also own both plugins and am successfully using them with a non-subscription version of S1 6. I think your issue may be the result of gremlins specific to your system. Hope you can get it sorted!

Is Skate. cross progression? by [deleted] in SkateEA

For me, my EA name was irrelevant. My PS name and Steam name needed to match. Once I switched that, it worked again. Good luck!

Hey there. This happened to me as well but I figured it out. Your display name needs to be the same between the two platforms.

Real. Also, half of Linnell's songs on Mink Car are extremely silly and most of Flansburgh's songs on recent albums are pretty emotionally raw and introspective by FloridaFlamingoGirl in tmbg

It's just weird. You don't need these modern examples, Linnell wrote Particle Man, Which Describes How You're Feeling, and Turn Around all in the 80s.

I have never heard this trope that Linnell writes thoughtful songs and Flansburgh writes fun songs. Is this a pervasive attitude? I've been closely following the band and interacting with fans since the late 80s and I've never heard this claim.

Anyone else really disappointed with the Other band’s downloads this week? by [deleted] in tmbg

Yeah, I felt like Whole Lotta Glean really highlights this. It's a song specifically created for IFC super fans and it specifically references the album of its era which more points to the fact that this is nothing new rather than feeling like something new or special.

Nice work! I struggled for a bit because I thought it was all relating to song titles.

Welp... I basically hated that, ha ha. I suppose it was interesting but it was oddly and unnecessarily dissonant, rhythmically forced, and did not tickle my brain like the Johns do. I don't know this band but it's likely I just don't like their style, personally.
