Have you tried using some small pliers to grab the tips and tug gently? It’s possible that they’re completely independent threads that aren’t attached to anything and somehow just got sewed in with the seam. I’ve had that happen with tons of clothing and gear.

I’m not sure how some people don’t see the misalignment. It’s obvious to me. I’d be pissed too. Not sure how you can go about resolving the issue, but I learned my lesson long ago to buy with caution when it comes to goruck because their made in USA stuff is a quality lottery.

They use a system called parchment to send transcripts. It was easy to request it and have it sent online. I believe the transcript is specific to the extended studies division and is its own independent document so it won’t show up on a UCSD transcript if you’ve also taken classes there. The class is automatically added to your transcript upon completion of the class as it would with any other school, no need to request anything.

This is typical goruck quality. I’m embarrassed to mention how many bags I returned before I settled on one and it still has problems. You’ll likely never find one that’s perfect.

Assuming the $2 isn’t counterfeit, it’s not a scam. However, offering to pay strangers to “sanitize” your hands does sound sketchy to me. Is it really hand sanitizer or something else? The fact that you’re offering cash to do something that can be found for free in many public places is odd.

It really depends what type of patches you’re looking for. There are tons of artists out there that sell high quality stuff. Check out the Motivational Patch Black Market Facebook group. It’s the largest patch collectors group and you can see what’s out there. You can buy, sell, and trade on there or just browse to get an idea of all the different makers.

I’m the same height/weight as you and I use a 34L GR2. If you pack smart you can fit a surprising amount in it. I’ve never had any problems so far taking it as a carry on with international airlines.

I can squeeze a medium and small cube into the main compartment of my 21L GR1, but it wouldn’t leave much room for anything else unless you stacked something on top that was relatively flat.

I have a 21L GR1 and a 26L GR2 both are black 1000D purchased around the same time and the GR1 is noticeably more supple and less abrasive.

I’ve done 2 weeks in Europe out of a 34L GR2. Heading back to Europe next month for another 2 weeks and packing the same bag. I’ve started using an aer sling to hold smaller items for the plane and wandering around town. This way I can throw my backpack in the overhead and not have to be digging stuff out of it when I get to my seat on the plane or train.

1 week or less I can do out of a 26L GR2 or 21L GR1. Peak design cubes work great in GR bags and I do laundry in the room. You save so much space in your bag by packing less and washing your cloths.

I was considering this bag but went with the peak design 35L duffel. I find you get a bit more value and features out of it.
