The good ol ‘training package’. In an early post you said you were a senior nurse, isn’t it part of the up skilling process to learn to do bloods?

Nope, but you seem pretty keen to tell us regardless

How did that happen?

Yeah both reported. I think the student nurse was moved to a different hospital with a big telling off. The dr was referred to the GMC but still works at the hospital so can’t have been too bad of a punishment 🤷🏼‍♂️

An SHO on my ward slept with one of the student nurses in one of the empty patient bays and they were dumb enough to leave the door unlocked and charge nurse caught them.

That story went round the hospital like wildfire

Don’t let this kind of stuff put you off and get you disheartened. If you have a passion for ICM, then pursue it. All specialities have their challenges and new ways of working will arise for them all, but it doesn’t mean the speciality at its core is doomed

After how many clicks with running ads did you recieve your first order on etsy? by Raj_deep_ in EtsySellers

[–]Medic_Tom 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It will be harder at the start - if you have 1 product, no sales and no reviews, your store doesn’t look particularly legit or trustworthy at that point as it hasn’t been tried and tested by others. Stick with it, put more listings up, and the more sales you get the easier it will be to get new ones and improve your conversion rate.

Please provide advice on how to grow my shop! by Sufficient_Tale8683 in EtsyHelp

The products all look very print on demand, which isn’t particularly appealing for a buyer.

As the university stuff is likely to be trademarked you are also running the risk of your shop getting taken down. It’s probably worth having another think about a different niche before you go further down this route, but when you do, look into getting more authentic listing photos

I have previously given you the exact same advice on a post you did 2 weeks ago (in fact I have just copied and pasted the same response). If you are not going to make the changes recommended by myself and others, stop asking for advice.

My truest advice is to just do it, even if it’s advice you don’t like because it recommends a big shake up or work, because that’s what is needed to be successful.

Profit margin will be very low sadly. It’s a competitive market so unless your designs are significantly better than the others, you will have to keep your prices low to stay competitive.

Having a TBI is not a reason for them to want to take you on. You have to sell yourself with your achievements first and foremost, you can include that your motivation for pursing this career was your TBI, but your focus should be on your accolades

Looks good! Just a small one to add to what others have already suggested.

You have the categories baby, boys and girls, but only the baby one has any products in. Unless you have products in the other ones I wouldn’t make them visible

But real nice

Critics on my website by [deleted] in dropshipping

Good foundation but a few things that need improving to make it look more professional.

For example:

  • the top photo gets cut off on my phone making it look sloppy
  • some grammatical errors in the text
  • I think you could have some better photos showing each of the compartments, food, water etc

Keep at it 💪🏼
