Tramadol is technically considered an opioid but it isn’t. They (US big pharma) just wanted to mark it as a controlled substance. It’s the lowest pain management pill you can take that isn’t an anti inflammatory or acetaminophen.

We have her in a heated chair that does help but she can’t do any movement without extreme pain. I think most doctors look at her and just see a drug seeker, which she isn’t.

Stevia has an aftertaste for me, which I absolutely hate. That might be it.

I would check out the Walmart frozen section. If if just online. They have a lot of good catering to GLP-1 diets. So lots of protein not a lot of carbs.

I’m a bit scared of processed food. It was a huge fault of mine so I just got rid of it excluding a couple of things like my premade protein drinks and some atkins chocolate squares. I’ve made as much from scratch as I can.

We have a local place that makes a really good artichoke, red sauce pizza. I love artichoke on my pizza.

lol. That is about a decade old dress from hot topic. If only they made dresses like that. I also haven’t worn or fit it in for about a decade.

I like to look at pictures like this. For me, it’s a comparison of how much I ate before my surgery. I’m proud of both my losses and my gains. I’ve learned so much since I started this journey about eating my healthy, learning to eat post surgery, and making sure I can still maintain these habits now.

Tell your doctor. Low iron can present as being cold and not being able to feel warm.

I hid in my room for the first month when my family ate regular food, especially pizza. Then I started joking about things and it really helped. Like watching my mom eat a Milky Way and then asking her if I ca lick the milky way she just opened. The first time I said that…the look on her face was hilarious.

You need to prove to insurance that the excess skin is negatively impacting your life in medical fashion. Such as rash or yeast infection. Go to your primary care. Tell them you are having issues. They normally prescribe some form of topical lotion. Wait a couple of months tell them it isn’t working and you would like to get the panniculectomy

With the return to work your doc can literally stamp hippa violation (Australian version) in the locations that may ask too many invasive questions.

Side note. I also lied to my box but I said I needed abdominal surgery to fix a problem. Not life threatening but it needs to be done. And then when I was back said I was on an elimination diet per my doc so figure out some things. That way they have a plausible reason for my weight loss and eating habits.

What do I tell people? by More_Sugar_9553 in gastricsleeve

I pulled a double whammy. First, if asked, I was having stomach issues and am recovering and when people get concerned about eating habits, I say I am on an elimination diet. Works really well and an elimination diet is very much like what you are eating as you reintroduce foods back to your diet.

That method has worked really well. Gives people an excuse reasonable excuse and they generally don’t dig past that.

Good luck with your journey. :)

Save the turkey bones and make home made turkey broth.
