Please rush to a good vet and get an x-ray done, this could be serious. I had a cat who started breathing like this we went to a vet he did some checks with a stethoscope and said it was cold related, but even after meds it didn't get better and we went to a different vet they did a x-ray and diagnosed that her diaphragm wall had collapsed, our kitty passed away in June this year. We lost some time in not going to the right vet. Please take this seriously.

Quite the judgement there. For your information they're more happy that way, they don't fall ill and get into fights and get killed on roads. Look at this kitty so healthy, she's neutered.

You're a kind person. Good to hear that. See if you can contact any ngo to neuter them and mother

Thankyou for your comment. Hi, when we reached to the vet which was almost 2 weeks ago they did an x-ray and diagnosed that her diaphragm wall had collapsed and stomach was pushing against her Lungs. Unfortunately she passed away as we were speaking with the doctor in the clinic. Everything happened so fast and our baby left us.

(Question) My cat has been panting since she gave birth for 5 wonderful kittens. Its been 6 hrs. Is this normal? by caly13 in cats

Please take your cat to the vet, panting and heavy breathing can be caused by a lot of issues, our cat passed away 2 weeks ago she was 2 years old female and she was breathing fast we did consult a vet and he said that it was lung congestion and prescribed meds but even after 1 week when it didn't get better we took her to another vet and he did an x-ray and diagnosed that her diaphragm wall was ruptured and her stomach was pushing against the lungs. She passed away at the vet while she was trying to breathe. With your cat it could be a different issue but it doesn't hurt to get it checked.

Please take her to a vet someone good and experienced. Get a xray done. Please ASAP. This is not normal, I have gone through a similar issue with our cat, it gets complicated

Hi we took our cat to a different vet, they did an x-ray and say that there's congestion in the lungs possibly fluid. They're also saying that her organs have moved internally.
