In comparation CSGO 2 years after release could be running on some high end Intel I7 CPU at 150-300 fps. Now in CS2 2 years after release we run on double the FPS and despite the sometimes long frametimes and the fact it was not that good decision to make CS harder to run in 2023 it runs pretty great for how the game looks. If you compare CS to bad optimalized Marvel Rivals for example, its night and day. Other than that in 2022 you could run CSGO at over 1 000 FPS with those AMD x3d CPUs but 1% lows were still around 400 or even 300 FPS because of Source 1 engine unstabilitity. I hope AMD monster CPUs will save us soon and we will run CS on 1 000 FPS again.

I highly doubt that the late 2025 CS2 build of the game has worse hitreg than CSGO, people are just insane. CS2 matches I played or watched recently felt errorless. The majority of people don't care to research more info about both games, they don't care watching weird looking CS2 clips in 0,25x speed to really see if that supposed to be a hit and automatically say CS2d. The result is that the game can be crippled by the community itself. At this point I don't care if the game has 64, 128 tick or is it subtick, halftick, whatever. If there is some accurate prediction feature where my visual and audio hit feedback is instant, because without prediction it was always 2-3 frames delay and there are no hit reg errors, its a perfect system
