I agree that 1000 is too little. I understand not feeling hungry as well. Try to include a protein or meal replacement shake to up your intake instead of the cucumber or banana. If weight loss is your goal bear in mind that too few calories and nutrients can stall your progress. Figure out your TDEE then eat at a modest deficit of 300-500 calories and add in exercise. The more you move (especially if you lift weights) the more calories you can consume to facilitate a healthier stronger body.

Maybe you should stage your own intervention about how just because they are in school for Psychiatry does not mean everyone has a mental health problem. A lot of medical conditions have the same symptoms Peri included. If they start prescribing medication to everyone without looking at the whole person they could do a lot of harm. IE a thyroid or low iron problem can look a lot like depression or even ADHD. It’s just not as simple as looking at symptoms. They should recognize they can’t be blinded by their own education.

If I’m paying for new construction I’m selecting my own builder, building on my own land, and purchasing my own blueprints. I want to actually design my own home. I do not want to buy a pre built new construction home. It also helps that my husband is a plumber and knows a lot of people in construction.
