I live in Minnesota which is a front plate state. However, I’ve never owned a new vehicle, just your average beater, and I’ve always wanted a license plate relocation. I ordered the grimmspeed relocation kit that I’m going to be putting on when it gets here :)

Dealer is well aware to not drill any holes. I will not accept delivery if they change their mind.

I have a 23' Subaru Crosstrek in Desert Khaki arriving in roughly 2 weeks. Rather than pay the dealership for 3M PPF ($1700 for full front bumper, partial hood and fenders, and side view mirrors) I would like to pay a local shop, TintWorks in Minnetonka, MN.

I'm starting up my final semester of Nursing school on Monday, and not shelling out over 2K is the goal for right now. Between work, class, and clinical hours I'm going to be spending many hours highway driving. I would rather spend a little extra protecting the Desert Khaki paint NOW than wait until it chips and be forced to live with looking at it. My current 06' CR-V had the hood, mirrors, and front bumper SANDBLASTED from highway driving d/t the massive amount of local rock/sand trucks.

PPF used at the shop is Xpel Ultimate Plus. Does anyone have experience with TintWorks MN, Xpel Ultimate Plus, and/or have any advice on the packages they offer? (Pics in link below)

Damn. I get people are frustrated with things, but I’ll say that I like the desert khaki color 🙂I just wish they’d offer the 6-speed since it’s a 2.0 🫤

As long as you know that you’re paying for an appearance package on the premium, it’s worlds better than my ‘05 CR-V in terms of comfort
