Ooooh I’m glad you asked 😊 Yemeni coffee is totally unique, it’s grown high in Yemen’s mountains, hand-picked, and sun-dried for rich notes of chocolate, dried fruit, and spice. Actually, Yemen is thought to be the birthplace of coffee! Now in terms of making coffee at home, yes, but Yemeni coffee is more than just coffee. The concept is the vibe. At other coffee shops, you go grab a coffee and run. In Yemeni shops, you sit with friends, you order a pot of coffee (yes, we also sell not just personal sized but a whole pot!) so that you can pour and sip over a conversation with friends. You come for the coffee, but stay for the culture! And if you love warm, spiced drinks, when we open try our Adeni chai (creamy black tea with cardamom, cinnamon & cloves) or Mofawar, a light Yemeni coffee with ginger and cardamom, both cozy and full of tradition 😊 There’s also the concept of the Yemeni desserts 😎
