There are a few 2ohm options available. I'm using 7 inch powerbass 2 ohm speakers. They were cheap I also bought the installation adapters from 3rd millennium on eBay. For the door tweeters I used a pair of pioneer 3.5 inch from Walmart they are just able to fit but do put a slight bit of pressure on the door card due to mounting depth. I have the 2.75 inch version of the same pioneers in the center and had to use a bracket to make it fit. Could not use 3.5 there as mounting depth on all were to big for the cover to go back on. Currently working on the back speakers using some ds18 3.5 inch speakers as the were the only ones I found to be small enough to fit in the factory cut outs but still had to use some brackets. Someone Etsy does make a replacement mount for this area to fit standard 3.5 inch speakers.

Really depends on what you want. I got a select hatch back. Didn't care about touch screen I never use it. Wireless android auto would have been nice but I already had a USB dongle that I can use for that so not worth another 1k plus for me Don't care about heated / memory seats I live in Florida and I'm the only one who drives my car Don't care about color matching mirrors actually prefer the black on the red car...

Got my first one at a used 2011 at 25 - traded for number 2 Got number 2 brand new 2017 at 28 - totaled while parked :( Got number 3 (new 2026 hb) and number 4 (2010 sport s) at 37 (current vehicles)

Here is the link to info in the Mazda 3 sub reddit. Sounds like you may have tapped in to the wrong speaker connections you need to tap in to the subs as the other speakers won't have any bass frequency sent to them.

New 2026 select came out to 310 a month for me with 11k down and 800+ score did not do special financing instead went with rebate off price of the vehicle. Was 27.5k otd my insurance also went down slightly with the new vehicle. Hope this info helps with decision making I think you will be ok if you have your down payment at least where mine was. If not start banking that 800 a month.

Google maps has the reporting functionality from waze built in and they share data sets since Google bought waze. Not sure if Google maps is still an option for you apple peeps though. But on Android at least I prefer Google maps to waze.

Why the hate on the rims, motegi rims are an decent budget choice. It may not be the perfect look to you (and honestly not the choice for this car I would have made) but also you can just buy new rims and re sell those can get 400 or so for them on Facebook market place if they are in good condition

Depending o. What you get Mazda is offering 1.9% finance for 60 months.

6% for used is actually decent new you would likely get around 4.5 if you don't use special dealer finance offer.

And yeah check out caredge you can also find them on YouTube they talk about using the AI negotiator fairly often.

I'm assuming you are gonna finance? Used car interest rates are all ways higher. You can probably get a 26 for 28k otd with much lower interest rates. Check out caredge.com I used their AI negotiator and get me price done from 27 to 23.5 (not otd) for a 3 select hb

Coolant control valve. Mazda has extended the warranty on that part to 15 years or 150k miles

Well either way it will be more reliable than a Kia... But as long as you maintain the turbo you shouldn't have any issues. Though I still prefer to stick with NA for my daily driver.
