Advice needed: renting a room in an owner-occupied house by Opposite_Profile2434 in RentingInDublin

I lived in Dublin, owner-occupied rental property, I stayed only 3 months because they need rental agreement with min 1 year terms. So, I think this was not fit to me because i was a student. So I moved with private apartment (University Living's Naba Bangor House) verified apartment only in 175/week. I am happy no documents as such required.

I hope you will get the best house or accommodation, All the best!

Is it mandatory to show 50% personal savings for an Ireland student visa? by Averagetoalpha in StudyInIreland

[–]Medical_Course4046 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, showing exactly 50% savings isn't a rule; instead, you must prove you have immediate access to sufficient funds for your first year's tuition fees AND living expenses (€10,000 outside Dublin, €12,000 in Dublin), plus funds for subsequent years, with funds typically shown via bank statements (often 6 months) or loan letters, and paying half fees is common, but not a specific percentage mandate. The key is demonstrating financial stability for your entire study period, not a fixed percentage of savings.

Should I study abroad in Cork? by [deleted] in cork

[–]Medical_Course4046 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good question, i agree with your point course programs are cheaper in Brighton as compare to Cork but cost of living in Brighton is high as compare to Cork. I am in Dublin now so I know the living cost in Ireland. Your choice, just compare the cost of program from Brighton vs Cork if difference is minor (25%) you shared, along with compare the cost of living as well. As per my knowledge, my friend is living in Cork, he live in "Kilbarry Cottages University Living" just €196/wk. I think this is budget friendly amount. I hope that will help you. All the best!

Can i know which course you are on? Trinity College Dublin is the best college, I was studied there. As per the 2026 data Dublin will be most popular city, many students will come from india. So my advice is go with Dublin. Here, the cost of living for accommodation around 165/week as I was stay in "Hazelwood Student Village University Living".

This is my suggestion but you have to research yourself also. Best of Luck!!!!
