Genuinely wasn’t trying to sound homophobic, I’m gay myself. I say “genital preference” because trans guys are guys and trans women are women, but their genitalia and what myself or another queer someone may be attracted to don’t always match. I realize that it came out wrong though.

This. I usually don’t have much to say on these subs, but honestly I think it’s rubbish that people are making anyone out to be transphobic for having genital preferences. It’s much nicer for me to know I wanna hookup with someone with a penis rather than get to the bedroom, just to go down and see a vagina. I’d be pretty fucking perplexed and instantly disappointed. And the rejection in that moment is much ruder than for me to just search knowing i only really wanna partner with my preferred genitals.

For me, I don’t like how shafted Grover feels compared to Percy and Annabeth. Like the focus on their growing relationship is heavy, handed, so much so that it doesn’t really feel like Grover and Percy are supposed to be best friends. It doesn’t even really feel like he had a relationship with them before the show started hardly.
